Epilepsy and Sleep Clinic: New CPD Evening at the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital
Building on the success of the recent other CPD events, the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital (QVSH), University of Cambridge, is pleased to announce the next event in its expanding neurology CPD programme: Epilepsy and Sleep Clinic, taking place on Thursday 26 February at 6.30pm at the Department of Veterinary Medicine.
The QVSH continues to offer high-quality, clinically focused CPD events designed to support veterinary surgeons and veterinary nurses managing complex cases in practice. This latest evening clinic will focus on seizure disorders and sleep-related conditions, providing practical insights, case-based discussion, and the opportunity to learn directly from the hospital’s expert neurology team.
The new event follows a successful neuromuscular CPD evening, which welcomed around 20 delegates for an engaging programme of specialist talks, discussion, and networking. Feedback highlighted not only the clinical value of the sessions, but also the informal and supportive environment that encouraged conversation and shared learning.
As with previous events, attendees at the Epilepsy and Sleep Clinic will receive CPD points and a certificate of attendance. The evening will be hosted at the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital site with easy access from the M11 and Cambridge, free on-site parking, and a relaxed atmosphere with pizza and soft drinks provided.
The £50 registration fee supports Camvet, the hospital’s charity, which funds ground-breaking research to improve veterinary treatment and patient outcomes. A 50% student discount is available.
By continuing to develop both specialist clinical services and accessible CPD opportunities, the QVSH remains committed to strengthening relationships with referring practices and supporting the wider veterinary community.
