last modified Mar 08, 2018 11:07 AM

We are pleased to announce that Nick Bexfield has returned to the QVSH to take up the role of Director of Small Animal Medical Services, where he has clinical responsibility for small animal medicine cases, and management responsibilities for the Medical Services. He also has responsibility for the Junior and Senior Clinical Training programmes within the Department.

On his appointment, Nick states that "Having previously worked at the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital for many years, I am excited to return and help lead the hospital forward. The hospital has first rate facilities and dedicated staff who have a passion for providing excellent patient care, outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and internationally recognised clinical research. I understand and value the importance of our relationship with referring vets and owners, and I will also help strengthen this so we provide the best referral experience possible."

Looking for a few more willing volunteers with medium sized dogs (15-25kg) for a short food project at the QVSH. Do you live close to Cambridge and own a medium sized dog (any breed or cross weighing 15-25 kg)? If so we would like to invite you and your 4-legged friend to participate in one of our current experiments investigating food preferences in dogs. The test will take place at the Queen’s Veterinary Hospital in Cambridge (some days in Feb & Mar) and will take about 30 min per dog. If you are interested please send an email to Marie (md777@cam.ac.uk) to receive more information.
