Here at the QVSH we are often contacted by international students, UK students and qualified vets wishing to spend some time with us within our hospital. We do whatever we can to accommodate these visits and have had lots of successful and productive visits over recent years.
To make the process as easy as possible please select which category below which best suits your requirements for more information and how to arrange a visit to our hospital.

If you are interested in visiting us here at the QVSH please read the information in the list below which best suits you.
We are pleased to accept International final year veterinary students for placements either during December and between April and June with a minimum of 4 weeks up to the full 13/14 weeks.
If you would like to apply to come for a visit during these times there are some important requirements to meet.
Language Requirements
Each applicant will need to prove their language skills using the following guidelines by providing a certificate of results.
C1 Advanced
Score: Grade A & B (overall score of 193, with no element lower than 185 plus a Language Centre assessment)
C2 Proficiency
Score: Grade A, B, or C (with at least 200 with no element lower than 185).

Visa Requirements
Because visa requirements change we are unable to provide visa advice, we suggest you contact your university for advice on making sure you can obtain/apply for the correct visa.

We are really excited to be now be able to offer EMS placements in our Small Animal Hospital. We can offer placements of up to two weeks per visit, up to 4 weeks per student during their course, working within the hospital to UK based clinical year veterinary students.

If you are a qualified MRCVS and wish to spend up to two weeks visiting one of our clinical departments please contact us with your request; this will be forwarded to the relevant service who will contact you if they are able to accommodate your visit.
