Junior Clinical Veterinarian (Equine)
Melissa graduated from Ghent University (Belgium) in 2020. During her studies she gained a broad perspective on equine veterinary medicine, having seen practice in the USA, Argentina and various countries in Europe.
After graduating, she went on to complete a specialised Equine Surgery Internship at Ghent University's teaching hospital, acquiring valuable skills in all aspects of equine practice.
She then moved to the United Kingdom and completed an Ambulatory Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics internship at Lambourn Equine Vets. She joined the team in Cambridge in December 2022. Her main interest is equine surgery, but she enjoys all aspects of equine practice.
In her free time she enjoys the outdoors, camping, hiking, climbing and dabbling in art.
