The Anatomic Pathology Service provide diagnostic and research support to the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital, Cambridge Equine Hospital and Cambridge Farm Animal Veterinary Services, and veterinarians and researchers within and outside the UK. The service is delivered by qualified experienced professionals and Senior Clinical Training Scholars (SCTS) (residents).
Services offered include
• Necropsy and surgical biopsy diagnostic services in domestic, exotic and wildlife species
• Post mortem service including gross and microscopic examination for diagnostic or research purposes
• Forensic post-mortem service is also available to determine cause of death
• Surgical biopsy service to support clinicians in clinical diagnosis and case management
• Comprehensive immunohistochemical staining panels
• Evaluation of frozen sections
