The Queen's Veterinary School Hospital

The Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital (QVSH) is part of the University of Cambridge and offers the highest levels of excellence in animal care. It has a purpose-built veterinary referral hospital which houses specialist equipment and facilities. As a not-for-profit organisation, we reinvest any surplus income in new equipment and services to benefit our patients.

Our greatest strength is the quality of our clinical team – most of our clinicians are European and RCVS diploma holders so our patients will receive the highest level of clinical care at all times.

QVSH is also the teaching hospital for students and Senior Clinical Training Scholars at the Cambridge Veterinary School. Senior Clinical Training Scholars are specialists in training (similar to registrars in human medicine) who assist our specialist clinicians with the care of our patients. Our students also assist with the care of our patients but only under the supervision of our clinicians.

We are also part of insurer RSA's Preferred Referral Network.
