Call for cases - neuromuscular disease in dogs and cats

Do you notice any of the following clinical signs in your patients (dogs/cats):

- high levels of creatine kinase;

- ventroflexion of the neck;

- muscle fatiguability, unexplained muscle atrophy;

- megaesophagus or voice change in association with gait abnormalities;

- decreased spinal reflexes in all limbs;

- or, involuntary muscle contractions, generalized stiffness.

These clinical signs could be indicative of a neuromuscular disease. As a neurology service, we have a strong interest in neuromuscular diseases and would be happy to assist you with these cases. We have a wealth of experience in electrodiagnostics, which can confirm our suspicion and help narrow down further investigations. If desired, we are available to discuss these cases over the phone before a referral is made.
