The Queen's Veterinary School Hospital

Just over a year ago, beautiful Bella came to us for TPLO surgery (Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy) to repair a cruciate ligament injury. Like many active dogs, Bella had injured her knee, and her family brought her to our team at the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital, hoping we could help get her back on all four paws. Her procedure was a true team effort, involving our orthopaedic surgeons, anaesthesia team, radiographers, veterinary nurses, and client services team - all working together to give Bella the best possible outcome.

Fast forward to today, and we were absolutely delighted to receive this heart-warming update from Bella’s family:

“Bella hasn't taken one lame step since her surgery, and is living life like she is 2 years old again. She's climbed Scafell Pike, run marathon distances and is just a very happy dog. Thank you a million again – from us, and especially Bella!”

Bella’s incredible recovery is a reminder of why we do what we do at the QVSH. Seeing our patients not only heal but thrive - bounding up mountains, racing through fields, and living life to the fullest. It's the greatest reward we could ask for.

Well done, Bella – you’re an inspiration to us all!
