Professional history

Davide graduated from University of the Studies of Milan, Italy in 2011 and qualified as DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) after discussing a research project on IVIg (Intravenous Immunoglobulins) application in domestic animals at the Department of Veterinary Science and Public Health, Veterinary Immunology. After graduation, he then spent three years in practice working as veterinary clinician in Germany and, through the Leonardo Project European grant obtained in Milan University, in southern England as MRCVS. In 2015, he did a two-year internship (Junior Training Scholarship) in veterinary clinical pathology in a commercial lab in Yorkshire (formerly CTDS, part of VPG, now Synlab Ltd.). In January 2020, he then completed a 3-year combined master degree and residency program (Senior Clinical Training Scholarship) in veterinary anatomic pathology at the University of Nottingham. He completed the fellowship of the higher education academy as Associate fellow following the ATP (Associate Teaching Program) at the University of Nottingham. He completed his MVM (Master of Veterinary Medicine) focused on wildlife pathology in European badgers (Meles meles). Since March 2020, he joined the anatomic veterinary pathology team at the University of Cambridge. In June 2021, he passed the board examination of the European College of Veterinary Pathologists and is now a board certified pathologist and EBVS® European Veterinary Specialist in Veterinary Pathology.

Mammary gland neoplasms.

Veterinary oncology in companion animals with special interest in cutaneous neoplasms.
