Professional history
Lisa graduated from the University of Lisbon in 2004. Following graduation, she worked at a busy small animal practice in Portugal where she was able to develop her passion for veterinary neurology. She went to the University of Bern in 2008 as Senior Training Scholar in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery and in 2011 started her PhD studying mechanisms of persistent infection of the central nervous system.
