Clinical Physician

Mark qualified from Cambridge in 1989 and after a year in small animal practice completed a three-year residency as assistant physician at the Cambridge Veterinary School. During this time he obtained his certificates in small animal dermatology and cardiology. In 1993 he was awarded the RCVS Robert Daubney Scholarship in virology and helminthology. In 1996 he completed his PhD on the epidemiology and pathogenesis of canine herpes virus prior to beginning a postdoctoral research project funded by the GDBA. In the summer of 2008 he returned to the Cambridge Veterinary School in the role of clinical physician.
